1. Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply for hotel accommodation contracts, guests who book on request through www.australia-crete.com as well as for all other supplies and services provided by the Hotel to the guest. To ensure that Hotel Αustralia (is accepted by public) and provides a safe and comfortable stay to guests, the following rules need to be followed: Not abiding by these rules may lead to cancellation of stay and/or refusal to use the hotel facilities.
Further, if you happen to damage any equipment or fixtures inside the hotel premises, the Hotel has the right to charge you the full cost of the same.

a. Do not scream, sing loudly, or create loud noises by any other actions inside the Hotel or guest rooms, as it may disturb or annoy other guests staying in the Hotel.
b. Do not use the guest rooms for purposes other than intended without authorization.
c. Do not light fire in the passage or guest rooms for heating or cooking.
d. Do not to move the articles in the Hotel or guest rooms from their fixed places without permission.
e. Note that we may refuse stay to patients suffering from an illness that may cause discomfort of any kind to the other guests inside the Hotel.
f. No visitors from outside excepts guests of the hotel shall visit in hotel rooms. Any meetings should be held in the reception or pool area.
g. Do not leave your personal belongings in the passages or the lobby.
h. In case of fire, must take the exit routes as there are plans showed in the premises to assemble at the car park area.
i. Do not bring the following inside the hotel premises:
1.a) Animals, birds, etc.
1.b) Things giving off foul smell
1.c) Guns, Swords, Explosives
1.d) Any other articles that may pose a threat to the safety of other guests staying in the Hotel.

2. Conclusion & Application of Contract
A room booking is confirmed only by the confirmation of the hotel. When booking on request, through hotel’s website the Hotel has the right to ask for a deposit of 20% – 25% and the rest to be paid upon arrival by cash or credit card. If the guest fails to pay the deposit before 7 days from arrival, the hotel reservation is cancelled and the total refund will be sent back.
A Guest who intends to book a room with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following particulars:
a) Name, age, gender, and nationality of the Guest
b) Telephone number and email for communication
c) Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival

3. Refusal of Accommodation Contract
The Hotel may refuse to conclude an Accommodation Contract or Hotel booking under any of the following circumstances if:
– All the guest rooms in the Hotel are booked.
– The person seeking Hotel accommodation is likely to violate laws and ordinances or act against the public order or good morals regarding his/her accommodation.
– The application for accommodation does not confirm the real details of the guest.
– The person seeking Hotel accommodation can be clearly identified as carrying an infectious disease.
– The person seeking Hotel accommodation is intoxicated and is likely to cause annoyance to other guests.
– The person seeking Hotel accommodation applies for a room with a hidden intent of raising profit for himself or a third party by engaging into acts such as selling articles anywhere inside the hotel premises or in the Hotel guest room booked by him.
– The guest does not pay the rest or balance of his hotel reservation.

4. Occupancy Hours of Hotel Rooms

Check in is at 14.00 on the day of arrival. You may leave your luggage’s in the reception area until check in and is possible to use the hotel’s facilities, parking, WC, swimming pool, bar etc. Check out is 12.00 noon. If you wish to extend your room up to 18.00, must contact with reception for further details.


5. Liability regarding Parking

The Hotel shall not be liable for the custody of the vehicle of the Guest when the Guest utilizes the parking lot of the Hotel, as the Hotel only provides the space for parking and cannot be held responsible for management of the vehicle, whether the key of the vehicle has been deposited to the Hotel or not.


6. Liability of the Guest

Room and Hotel facilities are for use of the Guest. The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for any damage caused due to intent or negligence on part of the Guest.


7. Intellectual & Industrial Property Rights of the Hotel website

All content on our website, including trademarks, marks, images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts, patents, etc. form: 1) or intellectual property of the HOTEL or its associates is protected under the relevant applicable provisions of Greek law, European law and international conventions; 2) or intellectual property of third parties for which the HOTEL has received a license for its own exclusive needs and for the operation of the online store. It is forbidden to copy, transfer or create a derivative work based on the content of the HOTEL. Reproduction, dissemination, transmission, retransmission of the material, or any other use of the content in any way or medium for commercial or other purposes is permitted only with the prior written consent of the HOTEL or any other copyright holder.
